Baton Rouge

We went to Baton Rouge this weekend. Short trip, but we got a lot in. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Friday night we went over to our friend's Chris and Rebecca's house. We had a great time grilling out back, and the kids had a blast together. This is Isabelle, she is the funniest 2 year old I have ever met. She is a riot!

It was great to see those guys. Good food too!!!

The Livingston Parish Sherriff department had a Fun Fest that we took the kids to. There wasn't much for Greyson to do, but he did get to ride on some swings like a big guy, and he got to look at the cool police equipment.
We also went down to Aunt Linda's house to feed Lucy. Lucy is a Canadian Goose that lives in the lake behind Aunt Linda and Uncle Jay's house. They don't know her story, but she is alone...kind of sad! Jay and Linda have adopted her though....Lucky Lucy. It is the wildest thing....Linda goes to the lake, claps and waves her hands and yells Lucy's name, and she swims accross the lake to her.....saw it with my own two eyes! He even got a little fishing in with Daddy and Pa.....
It was a short, quick trip, but we had a good time. Just trying to get everything together for the week now....the not so fun part!
